Ask "Do I have any personal biases that influence how I ask questions, such as unconsciously respecting men’s answers more than women’s or vice versa, or discounting the wisdom of people whose language is accented differently from mine?"

As a facilitator committed to the value of mutual respect, you need to offer everyone in a group an equal opportunity to respond to questions. Equity and inclusion are important facets of mutual respect.
