Ask "In
a single, brief, sentence, in your own words,
and from your perspective,
answer the question,
'Why are we here?"
Ask
small groups to come to agreement on this question when you are unsure
whether everyone is on the same page about the purpose of a session.
Post their answers and use their input to note similarities and differences
and come to agreement.
