Ask "Processes usually take place in a sea of related initiatives. What is happening at provincial or state, regional, national, international levels in relation to your organization’s interests that should be taken into consideration during this planning process?"

Consider asking your client and/or planning committee this question when you are developing the key considerations for a process as part of your due diligence. This question opens up opportunities for collaboration and new insight; it also prevents wasteful duplication.
